Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully — by using SpinCreatePlay you agree to them.

Video features are coming soon and are not yet available in the app. These terms also cover video-related use when that feature launches.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or otherwise using SpinCreatePlay (the "app", "service") you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Who can use the app

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account. The app is designed for families to use together — if a child is using SpinCreatePlay, an adult account holder should create the account and set the Settings PIN.

3. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your password, your Settings PIN and the device on which you're signed in secure.
  • One account per person. Don't share accounts or buy/sell them.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent: pictures, colouring pages, painted sessions and any videos (when present) are removed, and the credit balance is forfeit.

4. Credits and in-app purchases

  • SpinCreatePlay is free to download. Generating new pictures uses credits; video generation (coming soon) will also use credits. You can buy credits in packages from inside the app.
  • On iOS, purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. On Android, purchases are processed by Google via Google Play. On the web, purchases are processed by Stripe. The store's terms apply to the payment itself.
  • Credits are a limited, revocable licence to use AI generation features inside SpinCreatePlay. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for any other product or currency.
  • Credit packages are non-refundable except where required by law or by the store's policy (for example, Apple's refund process via reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google Play's refund window).
  • We may offer promotional credits from time to time. Promotional credits may expire and have no cash value.

5. Content you create

  • You keep your content. You retain whatever rights apply by law to the pictures, colouring pages and any videos (when available) you create.
  • Licence to us. You grant SpinCreatePlay a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store and display your content solely so we can operate the app for you (e.g. show it in your gallery, generate a video from it when that feature is available, or send it to your device).
  • We don't train AI on your content. Your prompts, pictures, line art and videos (when available) are not used to train AI models.

6. Acceptable use

SpinCreatePlay is designed to be family-friendly. You agree not to use the app to create, store, share or report content that:

  • Sexualises or exploits anyone, especially minors.
  • Promotes self-harm, suicide, violence, hate, harassment, or terrorism.
  • Depicts real, identifiable people without their consent.
  • Infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy.
  • Promotes illegal activity, illegal drugs, weapons, or gambling.
  • Attempts to bypass safety filters, jailbreak the AI model, or otherwise misuse the service.

The AI providers we use enforce their own safety policies and may refuse to generate certain prompts. Repeated attempts to generate disallowed content may result in your account being suspended or terminated.

7. Reporting content

If you see a picture or video (when available) inside SpinCreatePlay that violates these rules, please use the "Report this picture" or "Report this video" option in the gallery's more-actions menu. We review every report and aim to remove disallowed content within 24 hours. Repeat offenders will be removed from the service.

8. AI-generated content disclaimer

Pictures generated by SpinCreatePlay are produced by AI models; when videos launch, they will be too. The results are creative interpretations of your prompt — they may contain inaccuracies, unexpected details, or artistic licence. SpinCreatePlay does not guarantee that any generated content is accurate, original, or fit for a particular purpose. Please don't rely on it for medical, legal, professional or safety decisions.

9. Service availability

We try to keep SpinCreatePlay available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to take the app offline temporarily for maintenance, or because of issues with third parties such as Google or Apple. We're not liable for downtime, but we will replace credits that were lost because of a clearly attributable outage on our side.

10. Termination

You can stop using SpinCreatePlay at any time and delete your account from the Settings screen. We may suspend or terminate an account, with or without notice, if we believe these Terms have been broken, if continued use risks others or the service, or if required by law.

11. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, SpinCreatePlay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you've paid us for credits in the 12 months before the claim arose.

None of these Terms limit or exclude liability for things that can't legally be limited or excluded, such as fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app the next time you open it. Continued use of SpinCreatePlay after a change takes effect means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country require otherwise.
